Yep, one of the Dave Beall's in the world, and a hello goes out to the other guys that share my name!   Maybe we should make this web site for all of us?   We can do it...drop me a note

Where I have been and where I am from
Born in Columbus Ohio 1954...  Moved from Columbus to Hudson Ohio in 1968... Moved out to Eugene Oregon in 1972... Moved to Huntington Beach California in 1975...Moved back to Columbus in 1978...Moved out to Buckeye Lake in 1989

What I have been up to here at Buckeye Lake

After moving to the lake from Columbus, I started looking for some occupation that I could peruse at the lake. Mainly to get away from the commute to Columbus and to get out of the trucks. Many people have physical problems from driving truck for too many years. After deregulation trucking never paid enough to live in America anyway. I figure I can stay home and make at least what the semi was bringing in.
That's when I started making custom boat covers, doing business as
Lakeside Canvas. Being home every day gave me time with a computer, instead of out on the road in a semi. First things first, Rip the computer apart and figure it all out.. Ok, I still do repairs and troubleshooting just for practice.
My time is better spent making web sites and helping people fix their web site troubles. And that has led to web site hosting and domain names at
OneLakesideWeb.com. Over the past year I have been working with Drupal, the most versatile Content management system available. I am using Drupal to develop the BuckeyeLake.org web site.

This little website was originally built using CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer. It is a fun program, but can be a little tricky. It can help you come up with a design and then move it to an html editor. CoffeeCup software is really neat and very useful. I have been using CoffeeCup software for 10 years. Get CoffeeCup Web Design Software

Here is a page with all the CoffeeCup programs listed.
